Stream-lines - Part 1
Do you always seem to find yourself saying at the end of a day “I wish I had more time”? Well over the years, I have come up with a few simple ways to help streamline some daily tasks and give myself that extra 20 or 30 minutes a day to do something productive.
Going to the gym can become a 2 hour process and unless you are a professional body builder, “ain’t nobody got time for that”. Depending on your current routine for fitness goals, you can be at the gym from 20 - 90 minutes. When you throw in the time it takes to drive there and back (assuming 10 minutes each way) and the time to change in the locker room (5 minutes on each end), you are looking at another 30 minutes.
Here are a couple of ways you can streamline this time.
Go to the gym on your way to/from work. I know that when I make a pit stop on the way home from work before hitting the gym, I usually waste about 20 minutes and sometimes even wind up flaking out. So now I go from work straight to the gym, which saves some actual driving time and the time I typically waste just vegging out after a long day of work.
Change in the car. This one can be tough and a little dangerous, but still not as bad as texting and driving….and we have all done that. It might take some practice, but this one will save you the time it takes to find an empty locker, get changed, and lock everything up before hitting your workouts and the same time on the back end.
